This coming August 2013 all roads lead to Legazpi City as it celebrates the annual Ibalong Festival. The festival celebrates the epic story of the town of Ibalong with three legendary heroes, namely Baltog, Handyong, Bantong and other ancient heroes. People parade in the streets wearing masks and costumes to imitate the appearances of the heroes and the villains, portraying the classic battles that made their way into the history of Bicol.


Ibalong Festival will be held on August 10 - 25. Book your flights & accommodations and get ready for another round of festivity in the City of Fun and Adventures, Legazpi City.

Daet town to celebrate 430th founding anniversary and Pinyasan Festival

DAET, Camarines Norte, May 27 (PIA) -- The municipal government here has lined-up activities in connection with the 430th founding anniversary of the town through the Pinyasan Festival from June 15-24, this year. 

Mayor Tito Sarte-Sarion said that on June 15, the 430th founding anniversary of the Daet will be the start of the Pinyasan Festival with the first Pinyasan fun run with dogs from the First Rizal Monument to the Bagasbas Beach of Daet. [read more]
